The Carly is an oversized, open coat with a small shawl collar, dropped shoulder and kimono style sleeve.This pattern is designed for secondhand quilts or blankets. Make a fun upcycled coat with this pattern and a blanket you have at home or you’ve found at the thrift store. This pattern comes in hip length but I’ve made it from a crop length all the way to a duster! That’s the beauty of the Carly, she’s super adaptable and flexible to the amount of fabric you have. You can also change the pockets or add front closures.
